Good Newwz starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani got a good start at the Indian box office. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 17.56 Crore. The comedy film has collected ₹ 64.99 Crore in India and crosses ₹ 100 Crore gross worldwide within three days of its release.
The movie emerges as the 7th Highest Opener for Akshay Kumar after Mission Mangal (₹ 29.16 Crore), Gold (₹ 25.25 Crore), Kesari (₹ 21.06 Crore), Singh Is Bling (₹ 20.67 Crore), 2.0 (₹ 20.25 Crore) and Housefull 4 (₹ 19.08 Crore).
The movie also starring Adil Hussain, Tisca Chopra, and Anjana Sukhani in supporting roles. The film is written by Jyoti Kapoor, Raj Mehta & Rishabh Sharma and directed by Raj Mehta. It is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Shashank Khaitan, Aruna Bhatia and Akshay Kumar under their respective banners Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.
