Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan v/s Bhoot Opening Weekend Collection

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Gajraj Rao got a good start and Vicky Kaushal starrer Bhoot: Part One- The Haunted Ship got an average start at the Indian box office. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan began its theatrical run with ₹ 9.55 Crore and becomes the third highest opener for Ayushmann Khurrana. The romantic comedy film has collected ₹ 32.66 Crore in India in its opening weekend. Whereas Bhoot has collected ₹ 5.10 Crore on its opening day. The horror thriller film has collected ₹ 16.36 Crore in India within three days of its release.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan also starring Manu Rishi Chadha, Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo and Pankhuri Awasthy in supporting roles. The film is written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya. It is produced by Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, Himanshu Sharma and Krishan Kumar. The movie received positive reviews from critics as well as the audience. Hit ya Flop gave it 3 stars out of 5 and rated as Good.

Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship also starring Ashutosh Rana, Siddhanth Kapoor, Meher Vij, Bhumi Pednekar and Sara Gesawat in supporting roles. The movie is written and directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. The movie received negative reviews from critics as well as the audience. Hit ya Flop gave it 1.8 stars out of 5 and rated as Not Watchable.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan got released across 2500+ screens and it is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 35 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost. And Bhoot got released across 2000+ screens in India and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 25 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
