Amazon Prime Video announces the world premiere of Shershaah, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Javed Jaaferi, and Shiv Pandit. The biographical war action film is directed by Vishnu Vardhan and co-produced by Karan Johar.
Shershaah is a true story of a PVC awardee brave Indian soldier – Capt. Vikram Batra, his courage remains eternal and his memory indelible in the Indian psyche. His contributions count as blessings in India’s win over the enemy in the Kargil War of 1999.
The film marks Vishnuvardhan’s directorial debut in Bollywood. Tracing the life journey of Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra, it stars Sidharth Malhotra in a double role, as Vikram and his identical twin brother Vishal. Kiara Advani plays the role of Dimple Cheema.
