October starring Varun Dhawan opposite debutante Banita Sandhu had a slow start at the box office as it only managed to earn ₹ 5.04 Crore on its first day. The movie got positive reviews from most of the critics and due to the good word of mouth the movie picked up its collections on Saturday & Sunday and ended its first weekend with ₹ 20.25 Crore.
Varun Dhawan has not given a single flop in is career till date. Out of the his five last release, four have crossed 100 Crore mark at the box office.
October is directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi, who also wrote Piku. Lets see how this movie will perform on the weekdays.
