Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar & Vidya Balan has collected ₹ 200.16 Crore Crore in India and ₹ 286.70 Crore gross worldwide within 29 days of its release. It becomes the first 200 Crore club and highest Hindi grosser film for Akshay.
The drama film also starring Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya, Vikram Gokhale and Dalip Tahil in the supporting roles. It is a semi-biographical account of the Indian Space Research Organisation scientists who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, India’s first interplanetary expedition. It has received positive reviews from critics as well as the audience, Hit ya Flop gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
