The film is the sequel to 2007 film Namastey London. The film is their third collaboration after Ishaqzaade and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and it will be released on 7 December 2018. The principal photography of the film began in late February 2018.
The film will have a clash with Total Dhamaal, which is being released on the same day.
