PLOT: The film set in the backdrop of the 2016 Indian banknote demonetization and tells the story of Sarita Pillai, who is the sole earning member of her family. Her husband Sushant Pillai, a struggling musician, is good for nothing. The couple and their young boy are struggling financially. One day it all changes for Sarita when she discovers cash stash in her kitchen sink.
Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai is a thriller drama film starring Saiyami Kher, Roshan Mathew, Parthveer Shukla & Amruta Subhash. It is directed and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, written by Nihit Bhave, and jointly produced by Netflix and Good Bad Films (in their debut production).
