Badla Crosses 50 Crore in 10 Days

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla had a good start at the Indian box office. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 5.04 Crore. The movie also starring Amrita Singh, Tony Luke, Manav Kaul, and Tanveer Ghani. The mystery thriller film has collected ₹ 56.70 Crore in India and ₹ 78.90 Crore gross worldwide within ten days of its release.

The movie is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment & Azure Entertainment. It is an official adaptation of the 2017 Spanish film The Invisible Guest. A young dynamic entrepreneur finds herself in a locked hotel room next to the body of her dead lover. She hires a prestigious lawyer to defend her, and over the course of one evening, they work together to find out what actually happened.

Its Taapsee’s second film with Amitabh since Pink (2016). In both the films, he plays the role of lawyer hired by the character of Pannu. Amrita Singh and Amitabh Bachchan acted last together in Akayla (1991). They were also parts of Shootout At Lokhandwala (2007), but did not share a scene.

Badla got released across 1000 screens in India and it is made on a budget of ₹ 24 Crore which includes the Production cost of ₹ 16 Crore and Prints & Advertising Cost of ₹ 8 Crore.
