PLOT: East Indian agent Tiger joins forces with Pakistani agent Zoya to battle a ruthless militant.
MOVIE REVIEW: What can be the best ever ending of 2017..? Its Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are returning to the screens together after five years in Tiger Zinda Hai, both have reprised their roles of intelligence agents- Tiger and Zoya. Fans and the moviegoers had been waiting for the film for a long time and finally, the movie has hit the theatres. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film marks the second installment of the Tiger franchise after the 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger.
The film is based on a real-life incident wherein 46 Indian nurses were held hostage by ISIS in Iraq in 2014, but here the makers has given a fictional film with the characters of Tiger and Zoya who take you into the journey of these nurses rescue mission. A sequel to the record-breaking blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai continues the story of two spy agents eight years later. The first film was directed by Kabir Khan while the second part is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Tiger Zinda Hai has more action and it is more stylish than its prequel, Tom Struthers who has worked in Hollywood films like The Dark Knight and Inception has been approached to design the fight scenes in this film. Apart from the lead actors the supporting cast has also delivered a good performance which made this action film has its emotions and patriotic sense also in the right place. Paresh Rawal is a surprise package here, he never fails to impress the audience with his comic timing. Angad Bedi and Kumud Mishra are good in their part. ISC Commissioner Abu Usman played by the UAE based Iranian actor Sajjad Delfarooz is a delight to watch, he is tough and ruthless as a Villain.
The movie has given lots of WOW moments to the viewers, from the entry scene of Salman battling a pack of wolves, then the horse-riding scenes and finally the climax full of guns, bullets, fire and punches. Katrina Kaif as Zoya is really impressive in the fighting sequences, also she looks gorgeous in Dil Diyan Gallan song.
The movie is well scripted, well shot and comes out to be an engaging entertaining film. It’s an action-packed movie with supremely well-executed fighting sequences. The film has been shot across various destinations including Austria, Greece, Morocco, Abu Dhabi and India. Salman Khan has a huge fan base which will surely make this one also his another blockbuster, his last release this year Tubelight was not a big success at the box office but still the movie has managed to save it from being called as a flop.
The background score is good and goes well with Tiger’s moves and it creates an environment that is suitable for action films. The music of the film is also a plus point, Swag se Swagat and Dil Diyan Gallan are already chartbuster songs.
