Taking the message of “Made in India” forward, the film modestly tries to bring back our traditional art forms and handicrafts in focus.
The film is helmed by National award winning Producer – Director Duo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya.

Sharat Katariya, who had earlier made the romantic comedy Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), was roped in to direct the film with Maneesh Sharma producing it under the Yash Raj Films banner. Anushka Sharma and Maneesh Sharma had previously worked on the latter’s debut film Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011).
