Salman Khan starrer Sikandar may have received mixed reviews, but that hasn’t stopped it from becoming Salman Khan’s 18th consecutive ₹100 crore film in India – a feat unmatched in the industry. The film has crossed the ₹200 crore gross worldwide, cementing Salman Khan’s legacy as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars.
After wrapping up its first week with ₹90.25 crore nett in India, Sikandar surged past the ₹100 crore benchmark by the end of its second weekend in India. However, the film witnessed a noticeable dip on its second Monday, bringing its 9-day total in India to ₹104.25 crore nett. On the global front, the film continues to pack a punch, collected ₹200.93 crore gross worldwide.
Hit ya Flop rated the movie 2 out of 5 stars, labeling it “Below Average” and wrote, “It is a disappointment, particularly given the hype & expectations surrounding it. A missed opportunity that tests patience more than it entertains. It falters due to weak storytelling & screenplay that struggles to hold attention.”
