Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Crosses 100 Crore in India within 10 Days

The biggest family entertainer of the year Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh & Alia Bhatt claims victory at the box office and crosses the ₹ 100 Crore mark in India. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 11.10 Crore. The rom-com family drama film collected ₹ 105.08 Crore in India and crossed ₹ 185 Crore gross worldwide within ten days of its release. It emerges as the 5^th fastest 100 Crore Bollywood grosser of this year and also becomes the 2nd century for director Karan Johar, 7th for Ranveer Si,ngh and 8th century for Alia Bhatt.

The film is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy and directed by Karan Johar. Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios jointly produce it. Hit Ya Flop gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Very Good’ and wrote “The makers has delivered a complete family entertainer that will make you laugh, cry, and impress the audiences with a social message of women empowerment too.”. The movie also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Tota Roy Chowdhary.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released on 28th July 2023 across 3200+ screens in India. The film has a clear run till August 11, when Gadar 2 and OMG 2 will release. It is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 160 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost. However, the costs were already handled via the sale of OTT, satellite, and music.
