The film revolves around the lives of Chintu Tyagi, Vedika Tyagi & Tapasya Singh and how Chintu Tyagi, an ordinary, middle-class man finds himself torn between his wife and another woman. It is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, produced and directed by B. R. Chopra and starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta Kaur.
