Darbaan is a social drama film written, produced, and directed by National-Award winning Marathi filmmaker Bipin Nadkarni who debuts in Hindi with Darbaan. The film is an adaptation of a short story Khokababur Pratyabartan written by Nobel Prize winner Rabindra Nath Tagore.

A heartwarming tale with average execution. The story was good but the screenplay didn’t work well.
The slow-paced screenplay lacks depth. Sharib Hashmi delivered an impressive performance but other casts have nothing much to offer.
