Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte had an average start at the Indian box office and began its theatrical run with ₹ 2.70 crore. The black comedy thriller film earned ₹ 15 Crore in its first weekend.
The film directed by Sriram Raghavan tells the story of a piano player who unwittingly becomes embroiled in the murder of a former film actor and it is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures. It is inspired by 2010 French short film, L’Accordeur (The Piano Tuner). The movie got positive reviews from most of the critics as well as audience.
Andhadhun got released in 900 screens in India and it is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 22 Crore which includes the Production cost of 17 Crore and Prints & Advertising Cost of 5 Crore.
