Gadar 2 and OMG 2 Opening Weekend Collection

Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma got a record breaking start at the box office. The action drama film began its theatrical run with ₹ 40.10 Crore and emerged as the second-highest opening Bollywood film of the year 2023 after Pathaan (₹ 57 Crore). It has collected ₹ 134.88 Crore in India in its opening weekend. It become the 7th Bollywood movie of this year to enter 100 Crore club after Pathaan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, The Kerala Story, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Adipurush and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Hit ya Flop gave it 3 stars out of 5 and rated it as Good.

OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam performing well at the box office. The satirical comedy-drama film began its theatrical run with ₹ 10.26 Crore. It has collected ₹ 43.11 Crore in India within three days of its release. Hit ya Flop gave it 4 stars out of 5 and rated it as Must Watch.

Gadar 2 was released across 3500+ screens and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 100 Crore. The film is directed and produced by Anil Sharma, and written by Shaktimaan Talwar. Whereas OMG 2 got released across 1750 screens and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 65 Crore. The film was written and directed by Amit Rai.
