Ujda Chaman starring Sunny Singh, Maanvi Gagroo, Saurabh Shukla, Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja got an average start at the Indian box office. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 2.35 Crore. The comedy drama film has collected ₹ 9.26 Crore in India within three days of its release.
The film is about a balding 30-year-old bachelor who is in search of a wife and is given a deadline to find one or remain celibate forever. It is an official remake of the 2017 Kannada movie Ondu Motteya Kathe, the film won the Filmfare Award for Best Film in Kannada in 2017. The film was remade in Malayalam in 2019 as Thamaasha.
