Kangana Ranaut‘s Simran and Farhan Akhtar‘s Lucknow Central released on 15th September 2017. Simran has been directed by Hansal Mehta, here Kangana plays a Gujarati girl named Praful Patel and Lucknow Central is helmed by Ranjit Tiwari.
Despite of having the multi starrer in the movie Lucknow Central, Simran has moved ahead in the race of box office collections and collected ₹ 10.65 Crore in three days whereas Lucknow Central has manged to collect ₹ 8.42 Crore.

The fate of both the films is now depends on the collection of weekdays as both are made on the approx budget of ₹ 30 Crore.
