Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade starrer Poster Boys had a decent weekend opening of ₹ 7.25 Crore. But from Monday onward film had a low occupancy at the theaters and total box office collection so far is mere ₹ 11.20 Crore. The movie has failed to attract the audience as well as most of the critics. The movie got release in around 1000+ screens and the budget is around ₹ 25 Crore which includes Production cost of ₹ 18 Crore and Printing & Advertising Cost of ₹ 7 Crore

Poster Boys is an official remake of the Marathi movie Poshter Boyz (2014) which was a HIT at Maharashtra box office . It also marked the directorial debut of Shreyas.
The movie revolves around 3 men – the docile Vinay Sharma, the over enthusiastic Arjun Singh and the explosive Jaagavar Chaudhary, to their surprise, find their pictures on a poster promoting vasectomy (Nasbandhi) and how this mistake turns their entire lives upside down. Ridiculed by their families and village alike the Poster Boys set out to take on the system which leads them on a crazy journey that no one could have foreseen. Inspired by a real life incident this mad caper is sure to keep you in splits.
