Saand Ki Aankh v/s Made In China Opening Weekend Collection

Both the film has faced a strong competition from Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 in terms of screens and also it is the first choice for moviegoers. Despite getting positive reviews from the critics Bhumi Pednekar, Taapsee Pannu, and Prakash Jha starrer Saand Ki Aankh got a poor start the box office, Hit ya Flop gave it 3 out of 5 stars. The third Bollywood release on Diwali, Made In China starring Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, Boman Irani and Sumeet Vyas also turns out to be a disaster at the box office. Hit ya Flop gave it 1.9 out of 5 stars.

Saand ki Aankh began its theatrical run with ₹ 0.48 Crore and collected mere ₹ 2.47 Crore within 3 days of its release. The biographical drama film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar. The movie is based on the lives of sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar.

Made In China has collected ₹ 1.00 Crore on its first day and ₹ 3.75 Crore in its opening weekend. The comedy film is directed by Mikhil Musale, director of National Award winning Gujarati film Wrong Side Raju. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Parinda Josh.

Saand ki Aankh is made on a budget of ₹ 28 Crore including the Production cost of ₹ 22 Crore and Prints & Advertising Cost ₹ 6 Crore. Whereas Made In China is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 30 Crore including the Production cost of ₹ 22 Crore and Prints & Advertising Cost ₹ 8 Crore. Both the films are released across 1000 (approx) screens in India but the number of shows are limited due to clash.
