Saaho (Hindi version) Crosses 100 Crore in 5 days

Saaho (all version) starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor crosses ₹ 350 Crore gross worldwide. The Hindi version of the film has collected ₹ 102.38 Crore in India and ₹ 138.67 Crore gross worldwide within 5 days of its release. The Hindi version becomes the 3rd highest opener after Bharat (₹ 42.30 Crore) and Mission Mangal (₹ 29.16 Crore).

The action thriller film also starring Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vennela Kishore, Murli Sharma, Arun Vijay, Prakash Belavadi, Evelyn Sharma, Supreeth, Lal, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Tinu Anand in the supporting roles. The film follows an expansive criminal syndicate engulfed in a power struggle following the death of their leader all the while intelligence agencies use this to their advantage to take them down once and for all. It has received mostly negative reviews from critics as well as the audience, Hit ya Flop gave it 1.5 out of 5 stars.

Day Wise Domestic Collection (Hindi) :

The movie is written and directed by Sujeeth. It was produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati and Bhushan Kumar under their respective banners of UV Creations and T-Series. Principal photography for Saaho began in August 2017. Filming took place in India, United Arab Emirates, Romania and Austria, and was undertaken with IMAX cameras. The film was released on 30 August 2019 worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, with a dubbed version in Malayalam.

The film’s soundtrack was composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Guru Randhawa, Badshah, Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy and Ghibran. The big-budget flick took over two years to complete. The film marks Prabhas debut in Hindi films. It is also Shraddha Kapoor‘s debut in South Indian cinema. It is made on a budget of ₹ 350 Crore, one among the most expensive Indian films and released across 4500 screens in India.
