Cinema gharon mein 75th RAID garaj rahi hai! Ajay Devgn returns to the big screen as the relentless IRS officer Amay Patnaik in Raid 2, and the sequel has stormed into the box office with a bang! Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film crossed the ₹50 Crore mark within 3 days of its relaease in India.
It has already collected an estimated ₹65.06 Crore net within just four days of its release and early estimates suggest it may breach the ₹70 Crore mark if the momentum continues into Sunday evening & night shows.
Starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor, Raid 2 has emerged as a strong box office contender and is currently the fourth highest-grossing opening week for a Hindi film in 2025, surpassing Sunny Deol’s Jaat, which earned ₹40.62 Crore during its extended 4-day weekend. To move past Sky Force and claim the third spot, Raid 2 needs to add ₹16.80 Crore more, which is entirely possible given the film’s strong weekend trend and positive word-of-mouth.
The original Raid (2018) earned ₹41.01 Crore in its opening weekend. With Raid 2 eyeing a Sunday collection of ₹17+ Crore, the sequel could register an 80% higher opening weekend than its predecessor, a massive leap for the franchise. With solid momentum and favorable audience reception, Raid 2 is well on its way to possibly touching the ₹100 Crore club within its first week.
