Raazi Crosses 50 Crore in 6 Days

Alia Bhatt starrer film Raazi was released worldwide on 11th May’18 and got positive reviews from the critics as well as audience. The movie has crossed the 50 Crore mark at the Indian box office in six days of its release.

The spy thriller film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions.

Its is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat which is inspired by real events. It is about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer played by Vicky Kaushal during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 on the order of her father played by Rajit Kapur.

The movie got the fifth highest opening weekend collection after Padmavaat (₹ 114 Crore), Baaghi 2 (₹ 73.10 Crore), Raid (₹ 41.01 Crore) and PadMan (₹ 40.05 Crore).

Raazi got released in 1200 screens in India and estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 30 Crore which includes the Production cost of 20 Crore and Prints & Advertising Cost of 10 Crore.
