Mission Raniganj and Thank You For Coming Opening Weekend Collection

Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is not performing as expected and is struggling to show any growth at the Indian box office. The movie began its theatrical run with a mere ₹ 2.80 Crore. The survival drama film has collected ₹ 12.60 Crore in India within three days of its release. The movie also stars Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Jameel Khan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Rajesh Sharma in supporting roles.

Hit Ya Flop gave it 3 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Good’ and wrote “The film is high on emotions with a gripping screenplay in the second half.” The film was written by Vipul K Rawal and directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. And produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, and Ajay Kapoor. It was released across 2500 screens in India and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 55 Crore.

Whereas, Bhumi Pednekar starrer Thank You For Coming has collected ₹ 4.42 Crore in India in its opening weekend. The movie also stars Dolly Singh, Shibani Bedi, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, and Pradhuman Singh in supporting roles. The film was written by Radhika Anand & stand-up comic Prashasti Singh and directed by Karan Boolani. It is produced by Anil Kapoor Films and Communication Network & Balaji Motion Pictures.

Hit Ya Flop gave it 2.5 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Average’ and wrote “It is a good attempt and delivers an important anti-patriarchy message but it is not a path-breaking film.” It was released across 550 screens in India and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 40 Crore.
