MOVIE REVIEW: We all miss the Salman Khan who gave us Dabangg, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan, and Bharat. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan may be loved by the diehard fans of Bhaijaan but most of the cinemagoers will be hugely disappointed. The makers missed the opportunity due to bad writing and editing.
The slow-paced first half will test your patience. The actual story starts after the interval. Although the action was supposed to be the film’s high point, only a few action sequences in the second half will evoke interest in viewers. The original story of Veeram is modified and demolished by Farhad Samji, Sparsh Khetarpal & Tasha Bhambra. The weak screenplay written by them will not hold you even for a while. The dialogues by Farhad Samji are below average, the film lacks humour, emotions, and power-packed dialogues. The music and background score is good.
Salman Khan delivers the same performance as Race 3 & Radhe and you know how it was. Pooja Hegde yet again got the role that doesn’t justify her acting chops. Venkatesh gave a good performance in his limited role. Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vinali Bhatnagar were there just as fillers. Among the villains, Jagapathi Babu was terrific but Vijender Singh couldn’t impress. It was a delight to see the late Satish Kaushik on screen. The cameos were decent but all the other supporting actors were wasted.
