Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is an upcoming survival thriller film directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Pooja Entertainment. It stars Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Rajesh Sharma, Ravi Kishan, Gaurav Prateek, Anant Mahadevan, Kumud Mishra and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.
The film is based on a mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill is a brave, honest & diligent mining engineer, and Amar Joshi is a brave, honest & diligent police inspector who rescued 64 miners at the Raniganj Coalfields in 1989.
The principal photography commenced in July 2022 and ended in August 2023 with a song, and followed by post-production works. Watch the story of Bharat’s true hero, in cinemas on 6th October.
