Presenting the first look posters of Arjun Patiala featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma. Also starring Ronit Roy and Manjot Singh in pivotal roles. Earlier the movie was slated for a release on September 13, 2018 but was first postponed to 3rd May 2019. Later the film got pushed to 19th July’19. Now the makers have rescheduled the release date to 26th July 2019, it will clash with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya.
Arjun Patiala is a character-driven comedy with a touch of magic realism and music. The first look poster featuring Diljit introduces him as Arjun. Dressed in a police uniform, the actor is wearing a belt attached to multiple beer cans across his chest and a brown jacket that has a rose & a mike in each side of the pocket.
Kriti Sanon is introduced as Ritu, who is faster than lightning. Her poster depicts her character as a reporter, seen dressed in a yellow suit and holding a reporter’s microphone in her hand.
Varun Sharma features as Onida Singh. His first look poster features the actor seated on a blue scooter wearing a police uniform. The scooter is stacked with bananas, eggs, a hen and some raddish.
Shooting for the film started in February 2018 and ended in July 2018. It was shot in Chandigarh and some areas of Punjab. The romantic cop spoof comedy film is written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Rohit Jugraj. Produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films.
