Fateh starring Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez, has had a promising start at the box office. The movie kicked off its theatrical run with ₹2.61 crore and has collected ₹10.71 crore within its first three days of release in India. The first Bollywood release of this year, opened to a solid start at the Indian box office. The film saw a noticeable rise in collections on its first Saturday, even while competing with other strong releases at the ticket windows.
Directed by Sonu Sood, the action drama also features Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah, Soundous Moufakir, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Prakash Belawadi, and Shiv Jyoti Rajput. Released on 10th January 2024 across 1000+ screens in India, Fateh had a moderate production budget of ₹ 25 crore, covering both production costs and prints and advertising expenses.
Hit ya Flop rated the movie 2.5 out of 5 stars, labeling it “Average” and wrote, “it was a sincere effort from Sonu Sood that highlights dangers of fake loan apps while delivering action-packed entertainment. However, the film’s intentions are noble, its execution falls short of leaving a lasting impression. With tighter scripting & more nuanced character development, it could have been a stronger cinematic experience.”
