Blockbuster Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, and Tabu has joined the ₹ 200 Crore club in the fourth weekend of its release. So far, in 2022, only two Bollywood films – Brahmastra and The Kashmir Files have achieved this milestone. It has emerged as the 19th Bollywood film to achieve this feat. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 15.38 Crore. The crime thriller film currently stands with a collection of ₹ 203.58 Crore and today it will cross the lifetime collection of Golmaal Again (₹ 205.70 Crore) to become the actor’s 2nd highest-grossing film ever.

Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by is produced by T-Series, Panorama Studios & Viacom18 Studios. The movie also stars Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Kamlesh Sawant in supporting roles. Hit Ya Flop gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Very Good’ and wrote “A well-written sequel and a well-directed remake with some amazing performances”.
The movie was released across 3302 screens in India and is now being screened at 1784 screens in its fourth week. It is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 50 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
