MOVIE REVIEW: Dhamaal 4 reunites an energetic ensemble cast with uninspired writing, repetitive humour, and an overdependence on nostalgia. The writing feels remarkably lazy, often resorting to constant callbacks and references to earlier Dhamaal films instead of creating memorable new comic situations. Comedy has always been the soul of the franchise, but this time it rarely lands. Much of the humour is built around exaggerated slapstick, loud reactions, and recycled gags that feel overly familiar.

The film’s biggest weakness is undoubtedly its story & screenplay. The screenplay frequently loses momentum, and the comedic sequences become increasingly predictable as the film progresses. Despite these shortcomings, the film benefits immensely from its cast, who remain committed throughout and do their best to elevate the underwhelming material.

Jaaved Jaaferi once again steals the show as Manav. Arshad Warsi is as dependable as ever. Anjali Anand emerges as one of the surprises of the film. She delivers an impressive performance, balancing comedy and emotional moments with equal sincerity. Sanjay Mishra once again proves why he remains one of Hindi cinema’s most reliable comic actors. Even with average writing, he manages to create entertaining moments through his impeccable delivery and expressions. Sanjeeda Sheikh and Upendra Limaye perform their respective roles effectively. Ravi Kishan and Vijay Patkar are decent in supporting parts.

Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh, however, deliver performances that feel surprisingly restrained. While both actors are sincere, neither gets enough memorable moments to truly shine. Technically, the film pacing also suffers during the second half, where repetitive situations begin to test the audience’s patience. Fans of the franchise may find occasional moments to smile at, but those hoping for the infectious madness and originality that defined the original Dhamaal are likely to leave disappointed.

Dhamaal 4 Movie Rating:
Direction 2/5
Acting 2.5/5
Dialogues 2/5
Story 1.5/5
Screenplay 2/5
Overall Hit ya Flop Rating: 2 out of 5 Stars (Below Average)

Dhamaal 4 has a talented ensemble capable of delivering laugh-out-loud entertainment, but it desperately needed sharper writing, fresher comic situations, and a more contemporary sense of humour.
