Commando 3 starring Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Devaiah, Adah Sharma, and Angira Dhar got an average opening at the Indian box office. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 4.74 Crore. The action film has collected ₹ 18.33 Crore in India within three days of its release.
The film is written by Darius Yarmil & Junaid Wasi and directed by Aditya Datt. It is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Reliance Entertainment and Motion Picture Capital. The film is about Karanveer Singh Dogra, who chases a terrorist as the latter plans several attacks on India during the festival of Dussehra. The franchise mainly attracts the audience for its action scenes performed by Vidyut himself.
Commando 3 witnessed a high footfall in regions like Rajasthan, Bihar and Gujarat on Day 3. The film is running parallel to Dev Patel and Anupam Kher’s Hotel Mumbai in theatres, and as far as box office collections are concerned, Commando 3 is dominating at the ticket windows. Commando: A One Man Army had collected ₹ 11.18 Crore in its first weekend, whereas Commando 2: The Black Money Trail had collected ₹ 15.75 Crore.
Commando 3 got released across 2739 screens worldwide which includes 2456 screens in India and 283 screens in overseas. The movie is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 45 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
