The fourth installment of the erotic thriller franchise Hate Story hit the theatres on 9th March’18 alongside Dil Juunglee and 3 Storeys. Directed by Vishal Pandya, Hate Story IV starring Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhatena and Ihana Dhillon has shown a growth in its box office performance on the third day too.
The film which opened up at ₹ 3.76 Crore on its first day emerged victorious at the box office among the new releases. Dil Juunglee made an opening collection of ₹ 25 Lakh while 3 Storeys earned ₹ 35 Lakh on its day one and both the films were made by debutant directors.
Hate Story IV has collected ₹ 12.57 Crore in three days of its release.

Sat ==> 4.19 Crore
Sun ==> 4.62 Crore.
On the other hand Dil Juunglee starring Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem collected mere ₹ 90 Lakhs in its opening weekend whereas 3 Storeys starring Sharman Joshi, Pulkit Smarat, Renuka and Masumeh collected ₹ 1.6 Crore.
Hate Story 3 which released in 2015 was the highest opener for this franchise, collected ₹ 9.25 Crore on the first day. Hate Story was released in 2012 and its first day collection was ₹ 2.25 Crore, Hate Story 2 was released in 2014 and its first day collection was ₹ 4.75 Crore.
