QUICK MOVIE REVIEW: The story is interesting which is well served as origin story of the character Bob Biswas played by Saswata Chatterjee in the much-loved film, Kahaani(2012). But the audiences will miss the thrill of ‘Kahaani’, especially the stroyline and climax.

The screenplay is engaging in the first half but the second half becomes slow. Its predictable and weak climax makes it an average watch. Abhishek Bachchan took a risk as he was stepping into a role, which was played flawlessly by another actor earlier. And he deliveered a convincing performance. Samara Tijori makes a decent debut. Chitrangada Singh and all other supporting actors given a passable performance.

Direction 2.5/5
