Kartik Aaryan’s supernatural thriller Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continues to show its box office prowess, ending its third weekend on a high note by crossing the ₹ 250 crore milestone in India. Despite receiving mixed reviews and a significant reduction in the number of shows, the film has managed to captivate its target audience, solidifying its position as the top choice among current Bollywood releases.
Co-starring Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri added over ₹6 crore to its collection yesterday, propelling its domestic total 251.65 crore in 17 days. Competing against Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, the film found its niche with family audiences, outperforming expectations during a tough box office battle.
Hit ya Flop rated the movie 2 out of 5 stars, labeling it “Below Average” and critiquing its lack of originality and engaging storytelling. In their review, they noted, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 misses the mark, delivering a story that lacks freshness, thrill, and charm. Despite a promising premise, the screenplay is weak and fails to engage the audience effectively.”
While critics were not impressed, the audience’s love for the franchise and Kartik Aaryan’s carried the movie to success. With a strong hold on its target audience, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to conclude its run with a lifetime collection of ₹275–₹285 crore domestically. Although entering the ₹300 crore club seems unlikely, the movie’s worldwide gross has already reached an impressive ₹331.45 crore.
