Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Crosses 100 Crore in India & 150 Crore WW

Soaring high! Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav continues to rule the box office. The horror comedy film began its theatrical run with ₹ 14.11 Crore. Despite getting competition from the new Hollywood release Top Gun: Maverick and Bollywood film Anek, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 remains unaffected & enters into the 100 Crore club. It has collected ₹ 109.92 Crore in India and crossed ₹ 150 Crore gross worldwide within nine days of its release.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to surpass the first-week collection of Gangubai Kathiawadi (₹ 68.93 Crore) and Bachchhan Paandey (₹ 47.98 Crore). It has emerged as the 4th highest opening week grosser of 2022 after KGF Chapter 2 (₹ 268.63 Crore), RRR (₹ 132.59 Crore), and The Kashmir Files (₹ 97.30 Crore).

The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and written by Aakash Kaushik. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar under the banner T-Series and Murad Khetani under the banner Cine1 Studios. The film also stars Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Amar Upadhyay, Milind Gunaji, Rajesh Sharma, Karmveer Choudhary, Govind Namdev, and Samarth Chauhan. Hit ya Flop gave it 3 stars out of 5 and rated it as Good.

Anees Bazmee’s 2011 release Ready‘s lifetime collection was ₹ 119.78 cr and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to enter into ₹ 100 Crore club in just 9 days, making it his fastest ₹ 100 Crore grosser. The movie also becomes the second and fastest ₹ 100 Crore for Kartik Aaryan after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which crosses the ₹ 100 Crore mark in its fourth week.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 got released across 3900 screens which include 3200 screens in India and 700 overseas. It is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 65 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
