MOVIE REVIEW: Babli Bouncer has a lot of potential, but the makers failed miserably. The plot may look good on paper, but on screen, the team is unable to explore a topic that has never been seen on screen. It is another victim of terrible writing and poor direction. The intentions were not clear and even the characters were underwritten.
Director Madhur Bhandarkar, has given us Chandni Bar (2001), Page 3 (2005), Corporate (2006), Traffic Signal (2007), Fashion (2008), and Heroine (2012), and always shown the reality of showbiz and focuses on the strong female character. He has disappointed the viewers and this will be his weakest offering.
Tamannaah Bhatia managed to deliver a decent performance with a poorly written role. Saurabh Shukla is good as always. Sahil Vaid, Abhishek Bajaj, and all the other supporting casts were fine in their roles. The music is not memorable, the dialogues are not impactful, and the runtime of 1 hr 57 mins is also one of the drawbacks of the film.
