Despite receiving poor reviews and mixed word of mouth, Baaghi 4 managed to pull audiences into theatres with its action-packed appeal. The film recorded a double-digit start and showed decent hold over the weekend. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie is released on around 3000 screens in India.
While the film’s story and screenplay have been criticized for being weak, Tiger Shroff’s action sequences remain the main draw for the mass audience. The franchise name and wide release helped secure a strong opening. However, with a budget of ₹80 Crore, Baaghi 4 still has a long way to go before entering the safe zone. Sustainability at the box office will depend heavily on weekday collections and overseas performance.
Hit ya Flop rated the movie as 1.5 out of 5 stars, labeling it “Not Watchable” and wrote, “Time waste, money waste. This franchise desperately needs a reboot or a dignified end. The narrative feels like it’s stitched together from leftover action set-pieces with too many unnecessary song sequences.
