PLOT: It revolves around a young, innocent girl named Jerry who lives with her widowed mother and a younger sister. Life takes a tragic turn for Jerry when her mother is diagnosed with lung cancer.
Good Luck Jerry is a black comedy crime film directed by Sidharth Sengupta and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, Aanand L. Rai and Mahaveer Jain. It is a remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila (2018). The film was premiered on 29th July 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar.

QUICK MOVIE REVIEW: Good Luck Jerry is a light comedy film with some well-written sequences and good situational humour. Siddharth Sen’s direction is good and the writers keep the audience invested till the end, but the climax is not much worth the wait. The story is simple, the screenplay is quite engaging, and some dialogues are hilarious while some are just passable.
Janhvi Kapoor moves out of her comfort zone and delivered a decent performance. The film has a strong supporting cast. Deepak Dobriyal is always a delight to watch. Mita Vashisht, Samta Sudiksha, Sushant Singh, and Neeraj Sood are fun to watch. If you like the quirky comedy genre then it’s definitely a One time Watch for you.
