Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt crosses the ₹ 100 Crore mark worldwide in four days of its release. In India, the rom-com family drama film began its theatrical run with ₹ 11.10 Crore and currently stands with a collection of ₹ 52.92 Crore, after earning ₹ 7.02 Crore on Monday.
The film is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy and directed by Karan Johar. It is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Hit Ya Flop gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Very Good’ and wrote “The makers has delivered a complete family entertainer that will make you laugh, cry, and impress the audiences with a social message of women empowerment too.”. The movie also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Tota Roy Chowdhary.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released on 28th July 2023 across 3200+ screens in India. The film has a clear run till August 11, when Gadar 2 and OMG 2 will be released. It is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 160 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost. However, the costs already taken care of via the sale of OTT, satellite, and music.
