Blockbuster Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham has been roaring business all over and is unstoppable at both the domestic & overseas box office. The film has been earning ₹ 100 crores every day since its release, resulting in ₹ 500 Crore gross worldwide in just 5 days, and emerged as one of the fastest films to cross this milestone.
At the domestic box office, the action film is now the highest-grossing Bollywood film post-pandemic. Currently, it stands with a collection of ₹ 280.75 Crore in India and ₹ 543 Crore gross worldwide. The movie has become the highest-grossing film for Shah Rukh Khan surpassing the lifetime collection of Chennai Express (₹ 227.13 Crore)
After it emerged as the fastest Hindi film to cross the ₹ 100 Crore mark in just two days, fastest Hindi film to enter the ₹ 200 crore club. Now the movie has crossed the mark of ₹ 250 Crore in just 5 days, beating the record held by KGF 2 (Hindi version) on the 7th day, Baahubali 2 (Hindi version) on 8th Day, and Bollywood films Dangal, Sanju, & Tiger Zinda Hai on 10th Day.
Pathaan was directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The movie also stars Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, & Prakash Belawadi in supporting roles, and Salman Khan in a cameo appearance. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. Hit Ya Flop gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Very Good’ and wrote “it has a non-stop entertaining action and is totally worth watching on big screens.”.
The movie got released across 5500 screens in India and on 2500 screens overseas. It is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 240 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
