PLOT: Coming from the small village of Mijwan, a young girl must strive against all odds to become a Bharatanatyam dancer with no one but her father to support her.
Zee5 original film Mee Raqsam (I Dance) is presented by Shabana Azmi and cinematographer Baba Azmi’s debut as a producer and director. The film is an ode to their father Kaifi Azmi. It is written by Husain Mir and Safdar Mir.
The film has been entirely shot in Kaifi saab’s village Mijwan in UP.
