The comedy horror film is written and directed by Raghava Lawrence in his Hindi directorial debut. It is a remake of the Tamil movie Muni 2: Kanchana.
Laxmmi Bomb was scheduled to be released on 22 May 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film will not be released theatrically in India and will stream on Disney+Hotstar VIP on 9th November 2020.
