Laal Singh Chaddha Opening Weekend Collection

Laal Singh Chaddha starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan continues to struggle at the domestic box office. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 11.70 Crore. The comedy-drama film collected ₹ 37.96 Crore in India within four days of its release. Aamir, as co-producer, has taken responsibility for the film’s failure and is working at partially compensating the heavy losses incurred by distributors.

Laal Singh Chaddha has emerged as the highest opening weekend grosser of 2022 in the overseas markets. It has collected USD 3.17 million ( ₹ 25.24 Crore) and surpasses Gangubai Kathiawadi’s overseas opening weekend collection of USD 2.75 million.

The movie is directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. It is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios. It also stars Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya, and Manav Vij. Hit Ya Flop gave it 3 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Good’ and wrote “Film is filled with amazing performances, it is a faithful but quite lengthy adaptation of Forrest Gump”.

Laal Singh Chaddha got released across 3500+ screens in India and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 180 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
