Nag Ashwin’s PAN India film, Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Saswata Chatterjee is proving to be unstoppable both in India and globally. Within just nine days of its release, the film has stormed into the ₹ 800 Crore club, showcasing its massive appeal across diverse audiences.
This ambitious project is a post-apocalyptic film inspired by Hindu scriptures and set in the year 2898 AD. Blending elements of the Hindu epic Mahabharata with science fiction, it offers a unique narrative that has captivated viewers worldwide. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film has already amassed a staggering ₹ 432 crore nett. in India alone. The Hindi version of the film currently stands with a collection of ₹ 173 Crore and is on track to overtake Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, positioning itself as the number one Hindi release of 2024.

With a reported budget of ₹ 600 Crore, it has been released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English. The movie was theatrically released on 27th June 2024 across the globe.
