As of Day 4, the film has collected a solid ₹ 104.98 Crore nett domestically, a clear indication that this mass entertainer is resonating with audiences across the country.
Housefull 5 has proven yet again that well-marketed comedy entertainers with strong franchise value can drive big numbers. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the film is proving to be a box office magnet. With this impressive four-day total, the film is now firmly on track to join the ₹200 Crore club, a feat that Housefull 4 previously achieved under producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
Hit ya Flop rated the Housefull 5 – 1.5 out of 5 stars, labeling it “Not Watchable” and wrote, “A Franchise Fatigue That’s Hard to Sit Through. Its a mess of outdated humor, a non-existent script & cringeworthy jokes. The lead actors try their best to keep the energy alive.
