Hichki marks Rani Mukerji’s come back movie after four years, she was last seen in Mardaani (2014). Rani performance as Naina Mathur has been appreciated by the audience and critics. The actress plays the role of an aspiring teacher who suffers from a neurological disorder, Tourette Syndrome and in spite of her shortcomings she rises up and fights back her detractors.
The movie got a decent opening and collected ₹ 3.30 Crore on its first day which was better than Tumhari Sulu (₹ 2.87 Crore) and Mom (₹ 2.90 Crore). The movie has shown the impressive growth on Sunday, collected ₹ 6.70 Crore and currently is stands with a box office collection of ₹ 15.35 Crore.
