Dream Girl 2 starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday performing well and has scored a good opening weekend at the box office. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 10.69 Crore. The comedy film collected ₹ 40.71 Crore in India and crossed ₹ 55 Crore gross worldwide within three days of its release. The movie emerged as the 4th highest-grosser for Ayushmann and the highest ever for Ananya.
The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor & Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. Hit Ya Flop gave it 2.7 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Average’ and wrote “Raaj Shaandilyaa’s direction was decent but he could not create the same magic with Dream Girl 2. He manages to deliver a one-time-watch comedy film due to its quirky characters, their performances, and the witty one-liners.” The movie also stars Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Ranjan Raj, and Seema Pahwa.
