Chhichhore Crosses 100 Crore in India

Chhichhore starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor performing well and doing wonders at the Indian box office. Despite facing stiff competition from Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl, the film has managed to enter into the 100 Crore club. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 7.32 Crore and emerges as Sushant’s second highest opener film after M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016) ₹ 21.30 Crore. The comedy drama film has collected ₹ 102.19 Crore in India and ₹ 143.56 Crore gross worldwide within 12 days of its release.

The movie also starring Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Navin Polishetty, Tushar Pandey, Saharsh Kumar Shukla, Prateik Babbar, Shishir Sharma and Mohammad Samad. The film focuses on seven friends during their college days and the variety of memories they share and then how they save their friend’s son in their old age. It has received mixed reviews from critics and loved by the audience, Hit ya Flop gave it 3.4 out of 5 stars.

The movie is written by Nitesh Tiwari, Piyush Gupta & Nikhil Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Chhichhore was released across 2000+ screens in India and estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 70 Crore including the Production cost and Prints & Advertising Cost. Even before the release of the film, makers have recovered almost 90% of their investment by selling the Satellite rights, Digital rights, Music rights, because of audience favourable cast & movie genre.
