MOVIE REVIEW: Sardar Ka Grandson has a unique storyline but it is let down by dull writing and dragged screenplay. The first 30 minutes and the last 10 minutes of the movie are only watchable. The first half promises that the film is a light-hearted rom-com but the second half feels like a stretch and lacks depth, neither its romance nor comedy connects with the viewers.

Although the premise was interesting as it has a very fresh concept which not seen before in an Indian film. But the emotional side of the story is not explored effectively and most of the scenes fall flat.

Despite the sluggish writing, Neena Gupta managed to shine in her role and delivered a good performance. Arjun Kapoor failed to carry the film on his shoulders and struggles when it comes to an emotional scene. Rakul Preet Singh is underutilized and her presence hardly impacts the film. Kanwaljit Singh, Soni Razdan, and Kumud Mishra were average in their supporting roles.
