The latest action-thriller offering from the YRF Spy Universe, Alpha, has crossed the ₹100 crore gross mark globally after 20 days in theaters. Helmed by director Shiv Rawail in his feature debut, released on 3rd July 2026, Alpha marked the first female-led film in the tentpole YRF Spy Universe.
While reaching ₹100 crore worldwide is a notable vanity milestone, Alpha has registered a below-par box office performance relative to expectations. Built on an estimated budget of ₹130 crore, the film’s theatrical returns fall short of recovering its core landing costs without heavily relying on non-theatrical revenues (satellite, digital, and music rights).
While the film faced competition from other releases during its theatrical run, Alpha has managed to sustain a consistent performance, particularly in overseas markets where it contributed ₹29.04 Crore to the overall tally. But compared to previous blockbusters in the YRF Spy Universe, Alpha faced steady weekday drops and struggled to gain traction past its opening weekend.
Box Office Collection (20 Days):
India Net: ₹58.77 Crore
India Gross: ₹71.12 Crore
Overseas Gross: ₹29.04 Crore
Worldwide Gross: ₹100.16 Crore
